Psychiatric urgency, crisis intervention and risk prevention:
1. the restraint;
2. pharmacological interventions: indications, expected results, monitoring, side effects;
3. nursing approach to the main psychic problems

Learning Outcomes
Describe the peculiar moments of the historical-evolutionary path of "psychiatry nursing" also identifying the operational contexts and the foreseen structures; - Teach the student the management of complex and urgent situations that present various relational, technical, organizational and planning aspects; - Develop critical observation and analysis skills of the question and need "communicated" by the patient; - Define a communicative orientation which, in explaining the role of the nurse, connotes the relationship with the person. - Transmit a common professional language in the field of promotion and protection of mental health

Assessment Methods
The exam is offered in a single session for the entire integrated course (disciplines Pedagogy, Sociology, Psychiatry, Community Inf.ca and Therapeutic Education, Inf.ca in mental and psychiatric health).
The test will consist of a test with 14 quizzes for each teaching of Pedagogy, Sociology and Psychiatry with multiple choice questions with only one correct answer. The duration of the test will be 45 minutes, passing with 60% of the correct answers of each discipline will give a vote expressed out of thirty which will be averaged with the oral test of Inf.ca of community and therapeutic education and Inf.ca in mental health and psychiatry
