Course Contents
Classification and rehabilitation treatment of movement, posture, balance and walking disorders in some neurological diseases. Clinical and rehabilitative implications of disabilities resulting from these diseases.

Learning Outcomes
Some central and peripheral neurological pathologies will be described; rehabilitative programs to obtain the optimization of the functional recovery in relation to the treatment’s goal will be discussed
Prerequisites
The student must be confident with basic concepts of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and myo-articular physiology and neurological rehabilitation

Stroke Rehabilitation
Spasticity: a multidisciplinary integrated rehabilitative approach
Polyradiculopathy and polyneuropathies;
Radicular and peripheral nerve diseases;
Rehabilitation of the patient affected by spinal cord injury;
Rehabilitation of the patient affected by traumatic brain injury
Rehabilitation of the patient affected by Motor Neuron Diseases
Functional surgery in neurological rehabilitation.
Immobilization syndrome.
Expected Learning Outcomes
Identify the preventive and rehabilitative needs in people with neurological diseases in the different phases of life, through the evaluation of clinical data and individual characteristics. Design, plan and perform physiotherapy interventions.
