The module aims to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of some specific aspects of Human Anatomy important for their functional and clinical implications related to the professionalizing nature of the degree course.

Students must be in possession of the notions provided by the Human Anatomy course, in addition to the indispensable knowledge of biology and histology.

Frontal lessons with the help of power point presentations, Anatomage virtual dissection table, discussion of clinical cases.
Test to control learning and recognition of anatomical structures administered through a computer platform.

The assessment of the learning will take place through a written test consisting of 15 multiple choice questions (five possible answers. Only one exact) the test will refer to the structures treated during the course, their functionality and the pathological changes they may undergo.

Anatomical structures for nervous movement control: pyramidal and extrapyramidal pathways
Description, functionality and clinical anatomy of the nerve plexuses: cervical plexus, brachial plexus
Description, functionality and clinical anatomy of the nerve plexuses: lumbar plexus, sacral plexus and coccygeal.

At the end of the module the student will have to know adequately some particular micro and macroscopic structures related to the locomotor system, understand the relationship between structure and function of the same and have a good knowledge of the clinical problems that these structures can present.
