The course aims to allow the student to learn the practical clinical characteristics of materials for implantology, fixed and removable prostheses. To acquire the procedures and methods of oral surgery.

Learning Outcomes
The course aims to provide the basic skills necessary for recognition to the student of the practical clinical characteristics of materials for implantology, fixed and removable prostheses, and to acquire the procedures and methods of oral surgery.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of anatomy, histology of the oral cavity, materials for taking impressions, the construction of fixed and removable prostheses, for implantology and maintenance of hygiene in prosthetic patients with or without implants are essential.
Teaching Methods
The lessons of the course will take place in frontal mode, with the help of extensive iconography. Particular attention will be paid to the aspects of dental hygiene in patients with removable, fixed and implant prostheses.
Additional Information
The skills acquired through the frontal lessons can be expanded by clinical exercises in the various clinics
Assessment Methods
At the end of each module of the integrated course, a written or oral exam will be carried out on the topics covered by the individual teachers during the course, indicated by teachers of implantology, prosthetics and oral surgery.

Expected Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to have acquired the basic skills necessary for the recognition, management and prevention of fixed, removable prostheses, implant prostheses and surgical flaps.
