The course aims to form a good knowledge of the main communication and writing techniques. For this, the main models of communication are examined, including the principles and maxims of communicating. Furthermore, the phases of writing are specified. The course also includes a description of the most important characteristics of the Italian language and of the most common writing errors.

The course aims to train good competence:
- in the analytical use of communication models
- in the use of the maxims of communicating
- writing verified in all its components (documentation, planning, drafting, revision, editing, publication)
- of the written Italian language
- in the design of written texts
- in the written production of scientific texts.

Proficiency in the Italian language is required (C1 QCER).

Lectures are presented with the use of slides.

Durante il corso gli studenti si impegnano in esercitazioni scritte che sono valutate talora collettivamente, talora individualmente.

During the exam, the student is required to compose in writing a text consisting of a report on what they have learned in the course (time: 2h30).

The scientific text.

The student will have to demonstrate competence in the understanding and production of complex texts useful in the university and work path.
