The course aims to develop written and oral communication skills in the academic field.

The course programme and the mode of assessment are based on the B2 level of competence of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference).

Interactive lectures.

Attendance is optional but strongly recommended.

All course materials are available on the course page on the DIR platform, which is updated regularly.

Non-attenders:
Final computer-based exam based on the content of the book (1. Listening, 2. Reading, 3. Vocabulary exercises); a final score of 70% is required to consider the test passed.

Attendees (80% class attendance):

Oral presentation of a scientific paper with a power point - 20 minutes.

In April 2023:

you will have a selection of scientific articles.
you will have to choose only one article for your oral presentation.
you will have the evaluation criteria for the oral presentation.
