The aim of the course is to provide the basic knowledge related to Western Greek architecture and art history and to allow the acquisition of competence and contextualization of archaeological data.

Basic knowledge of the outlines of Greek history.

Frontal lessons.

Attendance to the course is recommended.

At the end of the course there will be an evaluation test in the form of an oral exam, with a minimum duration of twenty minutes, tending to verify the achievement of the training objectives by: 1. Recognizing the images of the selected manual; 2. Descriptive capacity of the same; 3. Ability to relate the works with the cultural, artistic, and architectural contexts of the reference period; 4. Knowledge of the figurative and representative codes; 5. Possession of the specific terminology of the discipline. In particular, the following weight will be given to the verification of the achievement of the training objectives: 1. 20%; 2. 20%; 3. 40%; 4. 10%; 5. 10 %.
