the course will provide basic and advanced knowledge in the disciplinary area of "library and information science" where the historical tradition of the library universe intersects with information management issues

frontal lesson with collaborative analysis of web contents;
preliminary home work;
group work

lessons will be available in synchronous (streaming) and asynchronous (recordings stored in the DIR space of the course) mode

written, 10 open-ended questions. each answer receives a score from 0 to 3 points
it is aimed to evaluate if the students know
how and where to find information (33%);
how to manage and use the found information (33%);
to efficiently and properly communicate the found information (33%)

the information literacy theme will be examined in the wider realm of librarianship/library & information science; and taking into account the misalignment of literacy to the print and the the digital world

n relation to basic level objectives - to be able to find information and evaluate it
in relation to the objectives of advanced level - to be able to use the information found (see SUA A4.b.2: "have acquired the ability to operate by moving easily between the world of analogue and digital information, knowing how to integrate and critically evaluate them".
