Seminar class where the students actively cooperate in preparing the teaching units on which they will be evaluated

The course provides the credits required by the training programs for secondary school teachers

Evaluation of the teaching unit prepared by the student (70% of overall evaluation); oral exam on the main aspects and problems of teaching history (30% of overall evaluation)

Utility of history. The sense of history. Scientificity of history. Utility of textbooks. History at different educational stages. Critical knowledge of history as a civic value. How to prepare teaching units.

Acquiring historical sensibilty in order to communicate it in all humanities courses. Becoming able to teach history by dividing courses into teaching units suitable to the various educational levels.
