The course aims to provide the essential tools to understand the purpose and dynamics of business crisis law, in order to enable the student to delve deeper into the study of insolvency procedures

Frontal lectures

Attendance for the course is not mandatory, but highly recommended

The exam consists of an oral test. The student will be asked two questions, one more general and one more specific. In case of significant divergence in the evaluation of the answers, the exam may continue with one or more additional questions

Inadequacy and insolvency.
Private and business crises.
Individual protection and collective protection of creditors.
Underlying interests of insolvency law. Autonomy and specificity of insolvency law.
National and international (European) insolvency law.
Out-of-court solutions to crisis.
Crisis management tools.
General principles of insolvency law

At the end of the course, the student should have acquired an understanding of the rationale behind insolvency regulations and therefore be able to comprehend the discipline of individual insolvency procedures.
