The course consists of two modules, in which the concepts of mathematics and basic statistics are addressed.

Deepen the basic concepts of mathematics and statistics, in the two modules.

Arithmetic and probability. Confidence with elementary functions.

Lectures, exercises, group work, gamification.

Each module includes a written quiz on the topics covered in class and an oral test, in which a project is presented.

At the end of the course, the student masters the mathematical and statistical tools to model the physical and economic phenomena related to sustainability issues.
