The course runs in 25 hours for any semester- 4 hours LAB1: Blood sampling, CVP, medication and bandage- 4 hours LAB2: Measurement of parameters, ECG execution,
administration of therapy, enema- 4 hours LAB3: Retraining and consolidation of lab1 activities- 4 hours LAB4: Retraining and consolidation of lab2 activities- 9 hours FAD course to consolidate face-to-face activitie

Learning Outcomes
The main objective of the course is to expose the student to the most
basic procedures in the healthcare sector.
The procedures are proposed using simulation dummies
Prerequisites
Only be enrolled in the second year of the Degree Course in Medicine and
Surgery
Teaching Methods
The course takes place in two phases:
Teaching of the expected skills using appropriately purchased dummies
to simulate the scheduled procedures- a course on-line to consolidate the activities carried out in presence
Additional Information
The course takes place over 2 semesters to cover the education of all
second-year students.
The first semester begins in October and the second in March
Assessment Methods
There are no specific exams but only the technical assessment of the skills that have been identified in the training program
