At the end of the lessons the students will have acquired sufficient knowledge:
- useful for the recognition of the most frequently encountered medical legal problems in the health sector, both in the ASL area, and in reference to legal medical pathology and insurance medicine.
- useful for personal identification, for the management of victims of gender-based violence;
- useful for the acquisition of consent to health treatments;
- useful for managing the right to privacy;
- useful for dealing with the Judicial Authority;
- useful for managing requests for voluntary termination of pregnancy, medically assisted procreation;
- useful for managing the transplantation of organs from cadaveric and living organisms.

At the end of the course the student is expected to have acquired the following skills:
- ability to manage medico-legal issues in the health and insurance fields (INAIL; INPS)
- ability to manage personal identification (living and corpse) from a medico-legal point of view
- ability to manage victims of gender-based violence from a medico-legal point of view;
- ability to correctly acquire consent, refusal and revocation of consent in the health sector;
- ability to correctly manage the patient's right to privacy;
- ability to correctly manage requests for voluntary termination of pregnancy in relation to the age and ability of the woman to understand and want;
- ability to correctly manage requests for medically assisted procreation;
- ability to correctly manage the assessment of death for the purpose of transplantation of organs from a corpse;
- ability to correctly manage living organ transplantation.

Frontal lectures with slides and individual in-depth analysis on topics
proposed during the lessons

Oral exam aimed at evaluating the knowledge learned by the student. The exam will focus on the entire program carried out in class. The exam is passed when the student demonstrates sufficient preparation for both forensic medicine and occupational medicine
