modalities, concerning academic aspects.
Assessment Methods
The final learning test will concern the following teaching activities:
1) Ethics and philosophy of science
2) Disciplinary insights in the nursing field
3) theory and philosophy of nursing sciences
4) Theory and philosophy of obstetric sciences.
The exam will consist of an oral test in which the student's ability to apply the knowledge acquired in the course through:
- the explanation of philosophical and ethical contents of the nursing and midwifery professions
- the examination of an emblematic nursing and obstetrics case and the application of clinical reasoning
- the explanation of contents referring to advanced nursing skills.
The oral exam will be considered passed if the candidate has demonstrated sufficient knowledge of the theoretical concepts contained in the course and sufficient capacity for clinical reasoning with respect to the proposed cases. To achieve a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must demonstrate that he has achieved an excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course.

The course program is divided into individual disciplines.
Expected Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
Knowledge and understanding
- expose the philosophical and ethical contents covered within the course
- describe the need for nursing assistance;
- list the differences between assistance and nursing;
- describe the concept of advanced competence and its stages of development
- I would describe advanced obstetric care processes related to prevention, education and the evolution of the needs of the population
- Description of the advanced nursing care processes connected to prevention, education and the evolution of the needs of the population

Ability to apply knowledge and understanding
- critical analysis of emblematic cases in nursing and midwifery and application of critical thinking
