The integrated course provides the basic notions of histology, human anatomy, topographic anatomy and physiology necessary to subsequently introduce the student to the professionalizing field of the course of study

The integrated course aims to provide students with a basic knowledge of human tissues and organs, their relationships and their functions with particular reference to the anatomical areas of greatest importance for clinical practice and human pathology as well as an initial competence in the observation of structures of the human body using non-invasive investigation methodology (RX, CT, MRI)

Students must have the knowledge provided by the biology courses.

Presentations in MS-Power Point format, interactive CD-ROMs and educational websites.

Students with disabilities, learning disabilities or special education needs, once they have contacted the University Staff, can refer to the tutor in charge of the course to define the examination modalities, concerning academic aspects.

The exam consists of a written test with multiple choice questions on topics as per the program regarding basic Human Anatomy, Physiology and Histology and an imaging test (RX, NMR TAC) for the part concerning Topographic Anatomy.

The student must have acquired knowledge of the micro and macroscopic structure of the human body and physiology. The student will have acquired indispensable and adequate knowledge and terminology for the professionalizing part of the course of study.
