Learning Outcomes
In recent years, the Italian healthcare sector has been affected by profound changes on the basis of the driving force given by the innovation of technology and knowledge, which is advancing at an increasingly accelerated pace, by the corporatization process that characterized the second half of the 90s and the most recent research orientation of clinical governance. All professionals are now called upon to contribute to this continuous development both with their specific professional skills and with adequate organizational and managerial skills. Therefore, it becomes of fundamental importance for radiology health technicians to complete their specialist cultural background with some basic topics in organizational matters.
Prerequisites
The course is structured around three main thematic areas:
• the first, of a general nature, is aimed at presenting the object of study "organization", to ensure that the student begins to master the terminology and the main contents relating to it;
• the second, more specific, presents the state of the art of the national health sector and of the organizations operating in it in order to help the student understand the meaning of regionalization of the NHS and to read their own context of reference;
• the third, more peculiar, represents how the health professions (in particular the technical profiles) are placed in the health sector, to highlight the methods of expression of the professional component at a national and individual company level.
Teaching Methods
Presentations in MS-Power Point format and websites.
Assessment Methods
The exam consists of a written test with multiple choice questions on the topics covered.
