The aim of the course is provide a good background of pharmacokinetic and an overview about the CA for TC, US and MR

Students are requested to have basic notions of anatomy, biochemistry, chemistry and physiology.

• Principles of pharmacokinetic: routes of administrations of drugs; absortion, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs;
• Contrast agents:
1. CA iodinated, ionic and non-ionic
2. CA for US
7. CA for RM
• Adverse effects of CA

It is expected that a student could identify the kinetic of drugs by its physical-chemical structure. Moreover, students are expected to konow the most used contrast agents.
