Learning Outcomes
To develop educational and methodological skills through the acquisition of theoretical knowledge related to educational methodologies and techniques. Analyze and discuss how to design educational experiences and interventions in educational services.
Prerequisites
Transversal skills acquired during secondary school, such as teamwork, communication and presentation skills, problem solving, research of bibliographic sources.
Teaching Methods
Classroom lectures with the use of multimedia audiovisual tools. "Case studies" to promote problem-solving skills. During the lectures, students are encouraged to engage in continuous peer discussions and interactions with the instructor.

Observation and Educational Planning. Participatory Educational Observation and Planning. Observation Techniques: Narrative Techniques, Systematic Observation Techniques. Educational Observation: Methodological Principles, Etiquette, Environments and Contexts, Group Observation, Observing the Body.
Introduction to Educational Planning Understand the fundamental concepts of educational planning. Know the educational planning process. Analysis of Educational Needs Learn how to conduct an educational needs analysis. Understand the importance of identifying user needs. Definition of Educational Objectives. Learn how to set clear, measurable objectives for educational programs. Understand how goals drive the design process. Selection of Teaching Strategies Examine different strategies and methodologies. Understanding the profile of the professional educator. Knowledge of theoretical lines and models of educational observation. Knowledge of methods and techniques of educational observation. Ability to apply educational observation techniques. Students will be encouraged to develop their own vision on pedagogy and its relationship with educational planning, experimenting with the theoretical knowledge acquired during the course through practical activities and the creation of concrete educational projects.
