Course Contents
Promote students' knowledge regarding psychic functioning in order to
develop basic skills for the recognition of psychological variables that
co-determine educational phenomena.
In the first part of the course, the history of psychology and the study of cognitive and affective processes from the perspective of psychology will be presented
general psychology and cognitive neuroscience.

the main pedagogists and pedagogical theories, analysis of some design models and reference models for the construction of a professional educational relationship.

Learning Outcomes
Acquire the theoretical reference models that explain the different cognitive functions treated by general psychology. Allow the understanding of cognitive functioning, through reference models. Make the student competent in the argumentation of reference models and theories, through the adoption of scientific notions and terminology. Know and orient oneself among the main models and theories of pedagogy. Knowing how to independently build a basic pedagogical project, both for research and for educational practice. Acquire and know how to choose and organize the basic pedagogical tools relating to the relationship with the patient
Prerequisites
No specific scientific or psychological knowledge is required beyond that provided by any high school.
