Learning Outcomes
The module aims to review cardio-respiratory pathologies of rehabilitation interest in order to give the student the most suitable approach, assessment and treatment indications for the patient.
Starting from the most appropriate elements for the administration of the initial assessment scales and learning how to use the information related to the clinical course of the disease, it addresses the choice of the most suitable pathway for the rehabilitation programme.
The most suitable aids are indicated and among the various treatment methods learned, the student is directed to understand and decide on the best pathway to the final outcome.
Prerequisites
The student must have knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the cardio-respiratory system
Teaching Methods
Power Point presentations.
Additional Information
There will be moments of practical exercises in the classroom with the presentation of exercises to be proposed to patients and discussion of clinical cases of treatments already carried out.
Students are asked to prepare a reasoned and shared rehabilitation pathway for some pathologies treated during the course and discuss together the choices made.
Assessment Methods
The examination consists of a written test with multiple-choice questions relating to the topics covered.
Detailed Syllabus

Expected Learning Outcomes
The student must demonstrate that he/she has acquired knowledge and understanding of the pathologies treated, that he/she is able to choose the instruments/tools to be used.
to be able to independently apply which type of exercise to choose for the different rehabilitation requirements.
