Learning Outcomes
Aim of this course is to promote knowledge and understanding of the essential aspects (etiopathogenesis, clinical picture, differential diagnosis and treatment of selected disease of the central and peripheral nervous system. Particularly, indications to rehabilitation as a treatment will be dealt with.
Prerequisites
The student has to possess basic knowledge in the field of anatomy, physiology and biochemistry of the nervous system.
Teaching Methods
Face-to-face lessons and lessons via Web.
Assessment Methods
Multiple choice-quiz, followed by an open question.
In specific cases, an interview can be implemented.

The neurological examination.
Spinal cord disease.
Multiple Sclerosis.
Parkinson's disease and parkinsonism.
Tremor.

Brain tumors.
End-plate disease.
Hereditary Ataxias.
Expected Learning Outcomes
The student must show adequate knowledge and understanting (and ability to apply them) of the essential aspects of the disease dealt with in the course, and their implications in physical medicine/ rehabilitation
