The student must know the active ingredients used in the pharmacopoeia applied to oral-dental hygiene.
The student must know the ministerial directives relating to the profession of dental hygienist.
Prerequisites
The student must have the concepts learned in the previous years of the course of study.
Teaching Methods
Theoretical lectures, supplementary teaching lessons in small groups, practical exercises during the internship activities in the outpatient clinics of the Dental Clinic.
Additional Information
ADO and UAF, with exercises for the practical application of the theoretical notions learned.
Participation in seminars; research through Medline on monothematic topics with preparation of a thesis, whose evaluation is an integral part in the determinism of the grade of the discipline, prodromal to the compilation of the paper to be presented during the final exam.
Assessment Methods
Verification and motivation to learn are done daily during the internship activity.
The exam consists of a written or oral test with open questions.
In the test, the level of knowledge acquired and the understanding of the course contents are verified.
Four questions are usually asked in an open-ended written exam. Each of the four questions is assigned a score from 8 to zero for an overall positive grade from 32 (thirty and praise) to> 18, negative if
