The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to the Ancient Greek language (phonology, basic morphological and syntactic structures)

The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to the ancient Greek language. The main features of Greek phonology will be examined. The basic morphological structures (declension of nouns and adjectives, present and imperfect of thematic and athematic verbs) and syntactic structures (the simple sentence, the complex sentence) will be examined.
