Introduction. Positive analysis tools. Normative analysis tools. Public goods. Externalities. Theory of collective choice. Income redistribution. Taxation and income distribution. Taxation and efficiency. Taxation and the trade-off between equity and efficiency.
Expected Learning Outcomes
The student must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the main reference models in the science of public finance and the theoretical models of public finance.
The student must demonstrate the ability to connect the acquired theoretical knowledge to competently and independently engage in the debate on public intervention in the economy and be able to demonstrate their own capacity for judgment
