Course Contents
The course aims to provide the students with basic knowledge on the main streams of political thought, starting from the modern era and with particular attention to contemporaneity.
The fundamental points of economic and sociological thought will also be analyzed.
Reference Texts
The textbooks will be indicated by the teacher during the first lesson, planning specific and detailed paths for the students attending the course.
Learning Outcomes
The course aims at providing the students with the interpretation instruments directed to understand the fundamental concepts of political philosophy and contemporary political thought, in the light of a historical-theoretical approach, but even with peculiar attention to the current socio-economic dynamics.
Prerequisites
No preparatory course is required.
Teaching Methods
Lessons and seminars. Attendance is recommended.
