At the end of the Teaching Modules, the student must be able to:

To To know the general principles of health and safety protection in the workplace for the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases;
To To know the general and specific principles of general, environmental and food "Hygiene" and "Preventive Medicine";
To know the prevention and protection measures;
To To know the specific risk factors related to the activity of Nurse;
To know the different environmental and personal preventive strategies to contain the infectious risk;
To know the Public Health scenario;
To know the principles of health education, health education, prevention, early diagnosis and health promotion;
To know the process of planning health education interventions and care processes in various public health contexts (consultors, prevention departments).

To knowledge of the general principles of the nursing profession and ethical/ethical principles governing the profession.
Basic To knowledge of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, physics, chemistry and biology.
Correlations with content from other core disciplines and clinics.

Interactive frontal lessons.
Use of power point presentations (slides, ppd, guidelines).

Case discussion in subgroups with presentation in plenary sessions.

Students with disabilities, learning disabilities or special education needs, once they have contacted
the University Staff, can refer to the tutor in charge of the course to define the examination
modalities, concerning academic aspects.

The exam consists of a written test and an oral test.
Written test: multiple choice questions aimed at the verification of To knowledge and understanding of the disciplines of Hygiene and Safety in the workplace (30 questions for Hygiene and 24 for Safety in the workplace for a total of 54 questions). The test is considered passed if the student responds correctly to 60% of the questions for each discipline. Passing the written test allows access to the oral test of Nursing in Public Health.
Oral test: the student will have to demonstrate To knowledge, ability to understand and reason applied on the content treated in Nursing in Public Health, demonstrating adequate communication skills.
