Reference Texts
- "MRI Handbook MR Physics, patient positioning and protocols" [Elmaoglu, Celik], Springer.
Learning Outcomes
to obtain mastery of the physical principles on which MR imaging is based, especially physical equipment MRI
Prerequisites
the course of Physics ( magnetism ). Mastery of scientific tools and language. Having attended and passed the company's online course for RM workers.
Teaching Methods
oral presentation. Platform: DIR Deliver scientific articles and protocols to work on and to go into detail.
Additional Information
The teacher requires a good interaction during the lessons and a fair degree of in-depth study of the teaching materials presented. Students with physical disabilities, Learning Disabilities or Special Education Needs can request specific services and tools via the Staff Sviluppo e Coorinamento Carriere e Servizi alle Stdentesse e agli studenti, consulting the University webpage:https://uniupo.it/it/servizi/servizi-studenti-disabili-e-dsa Students with disabilities, learning disabilities or special education needs, once they have contacted the University Staff, can refer to the tutor in charge of the course to define the examination modalities, concerning academic aspects.
Assessment Methods
written paper/test previously delivered (10 open answer) to test a candidate about physical equipment MRI and the physical principles. Collegial valuation with the other teachers of the module. For the sufficiency a basic knowledge of the proposed contents is required with a good autonomy of exposition and reasoning. For the advanced level, excellent knowledge of the contents, excellent presentation and good in-depth study are required. Particular importance is given to argumentative rigor, completeness, originality, appropriateness of language and depth of analysis.
Detailed Syllabus
