Course Contents
The study, prevention, diagnosis, treatment in addiction and mental health, in relation to psychosocial and environmental aspects. Educational intervention and clinical tools.

Learning Outcomes
Provide students with the fundamental knowledge regarding the rehabilitative specificities in addictions and mental health, with reference to specific rehabilitative techniques. Knowledge of the basics to develop preventive and rehabilitative interventions.

Teaching Methods
Each lesson includes a theoretical part and a practical part. Female students and male students will be invited to discuss clinical cases.

1. The importance of the theoretical framework in educational activities. 2. The knowledge of psychopathology in the educational and rehabilitative process. 3. The educational approach to developmental disorders. 4. The educator and the psychological distress of adolescents. 5. Complex traumatic exposure as a vulnerability factor for the development of addiction in adolescents and young adults. 6. Substance abuse: help for adolescents and families. 7. The educational approach in the rehabilitative course for addictions and psychological issues, in adulthood and old age. 8. Presentation of clinical cases.
