Cellular physiology: electric activity of the cell; ionic signaling; elements of signal transduction.
Skin as an organ, skin functions.
Thermoregulation: receptors, mechanisms of signal transduction, neural paths, coordingation of central and peripheral thermoregulation.
Sensation: types of sensation, receptors, mechanisms of signal transduction.
Hair physiology: cellular organization, functions, integration with systemic physiological responses.
Sweat physiology: types and cellular physiology of sweat glands; control of sweating; role and mechanisms in human health.
The program may be subjected to modifications.
