The teaching aims to do
- understand the specificity of the physiotherapeutic intervention in the developmental age which focuses on the child and his family.
- acquire the guidelines for setting up a treatment in the main pathologies of pediatric interest
- to know the importance of team work with all the figures that deal with the child to enhance the effectiveness of the re-educational intervention.

to accompany the student to decline the tools of neuromotor re-education (observation-
evaluation-treatment) in the main pathologies of pediatric interest
- identify the fundamental elements for setting up a treatment session in developmental age
- define the main treatment objectives to be achieved in the main pathologies of the
developmental age and the physiotherapy tools to achieve them
- know the main aids and orthoses used in this area

The student will have the opportunity to attend, for further study, an internship at the rehabilitation services that deal with the developmental age that are affiliated with the Faculty and the possibility of attending 3rd level centers specialized in the rehabilitation of child disabilities outside the region in order to prepare the thesis

The final exam will be carried out through an oral test with questions related to the teaching program with a request also to simulate therapeutic situations. The student must demonstrate that he has assimilated what he has learned during the lessons and classroom exercises. Furthermore, he will be able to demonstrate his communication skills and clinical reasoning skills.

@The neuromuscular diseases: identification of the goals and tools of the therapeutic pathway.

@The counseling: an outline of the importance of this as a tool for working with the child and his
family (Family Centred Care)
