Description of the macro and microscopic structure of the nervous structures (central and peripheral nervous system), of their relationships from a topographical point of view and description of the clinical problems that these structures can present (clinical anatomy).

Learning Outcomes
The module aims to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of some specific aspects of Human Anatomy important for their functional and clinical implications related to the professionalizing nature of the degree course.
Prerequisites
Students must be in possession of the notions provided by the Human Anatomy course, in addition to the indispensable knowledge of biology and histology.

Nervous system organization Anatomical structures for nervous movement control: pyramidal and extrapyramidal pathways Description, functionality and clinical anatomy of the nerve plexuses: cervical plexus, brachial plexus, lumbar plexus, sacral plexus and coccygeal plexus.
Expected Learning Outcomes
At the end of the module the student will have to know adequately some particular micro and macroscopic structures related to the nervous system, understand the relationship between structure and function of the same and have a good knowledge of the clinical problems that these structures can present.
