Main objectives of the course, is to apply basic notions in immunology, to the pathogenesis of immune-system diseases, and subsequently to their diagnosis.

Assessment Methods
Entry test to verify the level of the classroom and provide appropriate review of basic immunology. The exam will be a written exam with 6 open questions and one applied question. Each question will have a score giving a final score of 33 corresponding to 30 cum laude.
Detailed Syllabus
Autoimmune diseases: pathogenesis and etiology.Hypersensitivity claa I,II,III,IV. Acquired and congenital Immunodeficiencies. Vaccines. Monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. Diagnostic techniques applied to the diseases
Expected Learning Outcomes
Student should acquire knowledge on the diagnostics applied to diseases studied in the course
