The course will have a laboratory nature and will offer students the analysis of case law, legal texts, and legal literature.

Articles, legal texts, and case law provided to participants during the course and progressively inserted for each lesson's block on the DIR platform.

Transmit to students skills relating to practical issues concerning the codification, the application and the interpretation of the law in the Italian and in the supranational contexts

Students with BES/DSA can contact me during class or via e-mail in order to arrange the modality of the practice

The examination will take place during the classes through written exercises and class

Classes: Session 1 (3 hours): analysis of a legal text; Sessions 2-3 (6 hours): analysis of case law and elaboration of a comment by students; Sessions 4-5 (6 hours): analysis of two scholarly articles and preparation of a summary.

The objectives of the course concern the consolidation of some technical-legal knowledge and skills: difference between provision and norm, hierarchy of sources, role of the judge, structure of case law, criteria for interpreting law, ability to read a legal text and grasp its methodological and substantive aspects of greater importance.
