The Internship Guidance Workshop is a program designed to support students and help them process their fieldwork experience. Through interactive methods, these mandatory sessions offer an opportunity to reflect on and internalize the content of the internship—considering both the relationship between theory and practice and the emotions and personal experiences arising from observing and engaging with the work of social workers in human services.

The workshop aims to consolidate methodological learning in social work through a combined theoretical and practical approach, drawing on experiences gained within personal service organizations.At the same time, it seeks to strengthen self-awareness in relation to the profession.

Completion or conclusion of the second-year internship

The workshop is designed to facilitate group work among students through the use of interactive methodologies.Sharing and reflecting on the internship experience will be encouraged using techniques such as autobiographical writing, still images or short videos, and role-playing.In addition, participants will be introduced to journal articles and specialized readings relevant to the situations observed and discussed.

Attendance at the laboratory is mandatory.

The workshop does not include assessments; eligibility is based on regular attendance.

The internship support workshop offers students an opportunity to process and reflect on their field observation experiences in social work.
The group setting—typically small—facilitates sharing and learning, not only from one's own experience but also through comparing it with the experiences of other participants.
The goal is to bridge theoretical knowledge with the day-to-day practices observed in public, private, and third-sector organizations, while also addressing the emotional aspects of the profession; a key feature of the workshop is fostering greater self-awareness regarding one's professional role and the feelings experienced during the internship.
The group serves as a working tool, made more engaging through the use of verbal and non-verbal techniques (such as writing, readings, imagery, and role-playing).
