At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- Describe the concepts of critical area, organizational aspects of the Emergency System
- Describe the basic elements of the current legislation in Italy, related to the Health Emergency System
- Describe the concepts and phases of the rescue chain
- Describe the application of the ABCDE method in the approach to a critical person and apply patient assessment and monitoring on simulated clinical cases
- Describe the care priorities of a person in critical condition
- Describe the main systems for monitoring vital functions
- Plan the care of a patient in critical condition
- Describe the characteristics of communication/interaction in emergency situations with the patient, relatives, and the team

knowledge of anatomy, physiology and general pathology.

- Descrizione Organizzazione dei sistemi di emergenza territoriale, Dipartimenti di emergenza e Terapie Intensive.
- Principi generali della catena dei soccorsi, fase territoriale ed ospedaliera, trasporti intra ed extra ospedalieri.

- BLSD: teoria ed esercitazione.
- ALS: cenni di teoria e particolare attenzione alle procedure di: intubazione endotracheale, tracheotomia/tracheotomia,

- valutare e gestire il bisogno di comunicare in situazioni critiche.

- Pianificazione clinico-assistenziale dell’utente in ventilazione meccanica non invasiva, invasive (cenni), persona vittima di politrauma, infarto miocardio acuto.
- piani assistenziali persona con: cefalea in Pronto Soccorso, stroke, epilessia, sincope,
