Erectile dysfunction (physiology of erection; vascular, psychogenic, endocrine, and neurological causes; diagnosis and treatment).
Urinary incontinence (epidemiology, types of incontinence, diagnostic tests, treatment, and aids).
Neurogenic bladder.
Urinary retention (distinction from anuria; acute and chronic retention; potential impact on the upper urinary tract; diagnostic assessment; therapeutic approach).

To teach the main urological and gynecological diseases that can cause sexual and pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary incontinence. To teach the role of pelvic floor rehabilitation techniques in the management of these conditions.

The student must have knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the male and female urinary and genital system.
