Description of the macroscopic and microscopic structure of nervous structures (central and peripheral nervous system), their topographical relationships, and description of the associated clinical issues (clinical anatomy).

Learning Outcomes
The module aims to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of specific aspects of human anatomy that are important for their functional and clinical implications, tailored to the professional nature of the degree program.
Prerequisites
Students must possess the knowledge provided by the Human Anatomy course, in addition to the essential baseline knowledge of biology and histology.

Assessment Methods
Written exam with multiple-choice questions on the topics specified in the detailed syllabus.
Detailed Syllabus
Nervous system organization. Anatomical structures for nervous movement control: pyramidal and extrapyramidal pathways. Description, functionality and clinical anatomy of the nerve plexuses: cervical plexus, brachial plexus, lumbar plexus, sacral plexus and coccygeal plexus.
Expected Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the module, students will be expected to have adequate knowledge of specific microscopic and macroscopic structures related to the nervous system, understand the relationship between their structure and function, and possess a good knowledge of the clinical issues these structures may present.
