Elements of Criminal Forensic Medicine - Crimes against the person - Report to the Judicial Authority Professional and office secrecy - Privacy - Informed Consent and Mandatory Health Treatments - Elements of professional responsibility - Elements of forensic genetics - Elements of thanatology - Gender-based violence: general principles, epidemiological aspects, Prime Ministerial Decree of 24 November 2017. The in-depth study of this topic is aimed at “Integrating the gender dimension”. Students will be invited to explore the topic individually by reading supplementary material and participating in meetings on the subject that will take place at the University.

In order to achieve the knowledge and skills corresponding to the minimum level of sufficiency, the student is asked to demonstrate: (KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS): - know and be able to apply the fundamental principles of forensic medicine, with particular attention to what is fundamental in the healthcare professional / patient relationship (informed consent, patient self-determination, TSO, professional and official secrecy); - know the crimes of interest to the health professional in order to be able to draw up the report (report or report) for the Judicial Authority; - know and be able to apply the fundamental notes of thanatology; - know and be able to apply the legislation on organ transplants from living and dead bodies, and the legislation on the determination of death; - know the principles of thanatology - know and be able to apply the principles of professional responsibility; - know and be able to apply the techniques of forensic genetics (TRANSVERSAL SKILLS) - be able to compile a complaint or report for the judicial authority - know the rights and duties of the health profession
