Additional Information
During the course, at the end of each core topic, students will be collectively involved in solving exercises and problems. At the end of the course, two hours will be dedicated to solving problems relating to all course topics. Students with disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), or Special Educational Needs (SEN) can request specific services and tools by contacting the Career Development and Coordination and Student Services Staff and by consulting the dedicated page on the University website: https://uniupo.it/it/servizi/servizi-studentidisabili-e-dsa. Students with disabilities, SLD, or SSEN, after contacting the University Staff, can contact the professor in charge of the course regarding the specific exam methods and teaching aspects.
Assessment Methods
Drafting of a report in the form of a scientific
article in which the results obtained are
critically analyzed.
Detailed Syllabus
Synthesis of polymers via ARGET-ATRP under
various synthesis conditions. Characterization
of the molecular weight, thermal stability and
glass transition temperature of the polymers
obtained.
Synthesis of ionic liquids under different
conditions. Evaluation of the sustainability of
the various processes using green chemistry
methods.
Expected Learning Outcomes
Ability to critically analyze experimental
results and communicate them in the form of
a scientific treatise.
