The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge of the key aspects of criminal law applicable to business activities, with particular reference to the regulation of offences relating to insolvency, company law and taxation. By the end of the course, students will be able to: - identify the issues involved in determining who is criminally liable; - identify the potential criminal implications of conduct occurring in the course of business; - assess any aspects of criminal liability on the part of practitioners.
