Course Contents
The course focuses on the knowledge and understanding of psychosocial and humanistic sciences, major and minor mental pathologies, learning theories of educational processes aimed at the individual, the family and the community. To make known the networks of assistance and to support the person and the family in long-term care projects.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, the student must possess the knowledge and understanding: to favor the development of professional autonomy in the areas of therapeutic education and in the field of mental health.
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: use theoretical and practical nursing knowledge with the biological, psychological and humanities useful for understanding people in all its ages, groups and communities.
Autonomy of judgment: to use effective critical thinking skills for people in different ages and care contexts, evaluating the state of health and needs of the person in the different phases of his life (childhood, adolescence, adult) of the family context and knowing those of the community
Communication skills: use teaching and learning principles for specific educational interventions aimed at individuals, the family and the community.
Learning skills: develop independent study skills and the ability to ask questions in relation to national and global contexts of care and epidemiological structures.
Teaching Methods
Participated frontal lesson. Discussion of the themes of each teaching through critical reflection and debate between teachers and students. Projection of films, theoretical contents in power point format of the lessons, critical reading of research articles, National and Regional Plans to develop and apply communication and relational skills.
Use of clinical assistance cases.

Assessment Methods
The exam is proposed in a single session for the entire integrated course (Pedagogy, Sociology, Psychiatry disciplines: the test will consist of a test with 14 quizzes for teaching Pedagogy, Sociology and Psychiatry with multiple choice with a single correct answer. The duration of the test will be 45 minutes, passing with 60% of the correct answers of each discipline will give a mark expressed out of thirty which will average with the oral exam of Inf.ca of community and therapeutic education and Inf.ca in mental health and psychiatric.
