1. Design and implement innovative models for the prevention and management of priority health problems inherent to the community, chronicity and family.
2. Analyze the evolution and changes of health services in order to prepare plans, programs and projects for the organization and development of the health system/health services for the dimensions of nursing and midwifery competence.
3. Design complex health and welfare interventions in areas of high epidemiological significance or of great impact on populations.

The LM student will be able to:
1. Define and be able to recognize the concepts of need, equity, inequality, health promotion, fragility and vulnerability, chronicity, deprivation.
2. Learn more about and know the salient values/contents on health issues of the WHO, Ottawa Charter and Astana.
3. Know the theoretical assumptions that underlie the care models for taking care of people in chronic conditions and know how to adapt them to different contexts.
4.Design interventions on target populations of elderly, chronic, frail, immigrants, children/adolescents.
