Teach through experience the main principles and the main expressive forms of Playback Theatre. Offer a tool of work applicable to different and multiple group contexts, based on spontaneity, creativity, relation, listening, sharing and return, using the body, voice, movement as communicative and artistic tools.

Curiosity, willingness to listen to yourself and others, to get involved, use your own body, voice, movement, as comunicative and artistic tools.

Each lesson includes a theoretical and a practical part. The active experiential method will mainly be used, the students will be invited, respecting the freedom and sensitivity of each one, to get involved, alternating in different roles, in order to practically experiment with the techniques learned.

In the conduct of the course, the free and spontaneous sharing by students of personal content useful for experimenting with the method is envisaged, also encouraging gender mainstreaming. Areas and contexts of application of PBT. Creator Jonathan Fox, historical notes on the origins of the Playback Theatre. Characteristics of PBT: spontaneity, creativity, artistic dignity, social interaction, empathetic listening, interaction on stage, with the narrator, with the audience. The ritual. The stories. The artistic component. Lightness and depth in PBT. The 5 structural elements of PBT: narrator, host, actor/performer, spectator/witness, music. Performances and workshops. Transformative processes in PBT: from the self to the us, individual and community.
