Lectures and participatory learning methods.

Students with disabilities, learning disabilities or special education needs, once they have contacted the University Staff, can refer to the tutor in charge of the course to define the examination modalities, concerning academic aspects.

The final exam consists of a written test in the form of a multiple-choice questionnaire, to be held in the computer lab, on the topics covered during the course. The following constitute reference material for preparation: a) the slides presented in class, b) the notes taken during the lectures, c) any further readings indicated by the lecturer. The purpose of the test is to assess the ability to apply the knowledge acquired. The test consists of multiple-choice questions with only one correct option. The assessment is expressed in thirtieths, and the examination is deemed to be passed with a minimum mark of 18.

A group activity in class may also be proposed. Participation in this activity is not compulsory and does not limit the possibility of obtaining the highest mark in the examination. Should it be carried out, it may provide for the allocation of a small additional score to be added to the final grade.
