The course will provide students with elements of forensic medicine with reference to medical ethics, medico-legal pathology, insurance medicine and the relationship with the judicial authority.
In particular, the course will pay great attention to the doctor-patient relationship in order to help the student to achieve awareness of being a doctor and of the profound values ​​of the doctor's professionalism. and the importance of placing at the center of the relationship not the disease, but the patients in their specificity as human beings, whatever their gender, their geographical origin or their socio-economic situation.

- know and apply the methods for describing the lesions;
- know and apply the main laws of interest for the health professional;
- know and apply the fundamental elements for the management of victims of gender-based violence;
- know the principles of forensic genetics and forensic toxicology of interest for clinical practice.
