Approach, observation, evaluation and definition of the rehabilitation pathway of the oncological patient in relation to typical clinical and functional profiles: - Significance and role of oncological rehabilitation - Rehabilitation needs in breast carcinoma - Rehabilitation needs in cervical-facial neoplasms - Rehabilitation needs in thoracic tumours - Rehabilitation needs in neuro-oncological pathologies - Rehabilitation needs in musculoskeletal tumours - Rehabilitation needs in advanced neoplasms: palliative rehabilitation and hospice rehabilitation - Concept of quality of life - Fatigue - Rehabilitation protocols - Evaluation scales Approach, observation, evaluation and definition of the rehabilitation pathway of the geriatric patient: - Definition of the elderly patient, physiological ageing and the concept of normality and normality, tools for assessing independence - Targets/outcomes of rehabilitation in elderly, - To know the main morbidity conditions of the elderly that require rehabilitation: Stroke, Parkinson's disease, Fractures (femur, upper limb...), Chronic bone and joint pain, Ischemic heart disease, COPD, Cognitive decline, Immobility - Definition of frail elderly: manipulation, communication, feeding, walking and balance disorder, sensory deficits - Return to home after hospitalisation - Placement in retirement home - Evaluation scales - Equipment, aids - Physical activity
Expected Learning Outcomes
The student should be able to know in the oncological field the main areas of intervention of rehabilitation, the outcomes related to the surgical aspect of physiotherapy interest. In the geriatric field, the student should know the main disabling diseases that require rehabilitation and identify appropriate rehabilitation paths.
