Course Contents
The integrated course of Methodologies of biomedical laboratory includes four modules: Laboratory Methodologies, Laboratory Safety, Laboratory Equipment and Elements of Radiation Protection. More details are given in the program of the modules.

Learning Outcomes
The aim of the course is to furnish knowledge, skills and where needed abilities about pre-analytical procedures, reliability of analytical tests, safety in work environment, equipment of different types of laboratories and radioprotection of the professionals and patients.
Prerequisites
Achievement of positive assessment of the previous courses following the didactic rules.
Teaching Methods
Teaching lessons with powerpoint slides and movies. Open discussion about the various topics of the program. Verification of the learning level by multiple choice test and subsequent discussion on the results.
Availability of slides and other documentation used and recommended during the lessons.

Assessment Methods
Multiple choice test with 30 questions about radioprotection and oral colloquium about laboratory methodologies, safety and equipment. The final score includes the result of multiple-choice test and colloquium.
