At the end of the course the student will be able to:
• deal with the medical-legal problems,
• know laws and regulations of practical application;
• know the fundamentals of professional responsibility;
• recognize and be able to describe injuries of medical-legal interest;
- to provide up-to-date knowledge on the main areas of medico-legal interest for carrying out the profession;
- to foster the ability to use an autonomous reflection on the topics dealt with;
- to be able to demonstrate on the part of the student a critical understanding of the acquired knowledge.

In order to achieve the knowledge and skills corresponding to the minimum level of sufficiency, the student is asked to demonstrate:
(KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS):
- know and be able to apply the fundamental principles of forensic medicine, with particular attention to what is fundamental in the healthcare professional / patient relationship (informed consent, patient self-determination, TSO, professional and official secrecy);
- know the crimes of interest to the health professional in order to be able to draw up the report (report or report) for the Judicial Authority;
- know and be able to describe injuries of interest in the forensic field
- know and be able to deal with issues of interest to the profession relating to unaccompanied - foreign minors
- know and be able to apply the principles of professional responsibility
