Learning Outcomes
The course aims to provide students with knowledge and skills in designing and managing research frameworks, using key empirical data collection tools, and organizing data. It also focuses on applying sociological knowledge to digital media, journalism, and communication.

Assessment Methods
The exams will be written: 2 hours for Sociology of Communication and 1 hour for Methodology of Social Sciences. The purpose of the exams is to assess the student's ability to navigate the theoretical and practical aspects of the subjects.

Ability to design, organize, and carry out social research using both quantitative and qualitative methods Ability to analyze media environments in relation to issues of identity, relationships, and knowledge Ability to recognize key mechanisms involved in news production and in the reproduction of stereotypes and migration-related narratives
