Written: A) (1:45h): 4–6 grammar exercises and a short composition in the target language; B) (1:45h): translation with a dictionary. Oral: assessment of language skills (comprehension/expression, including based on the compulsory reading list) according to the specified level. You must bring the book you have read (including digital versions) to the exam; it must be free of marks or annotations. To pass the written exam, you must achieve at least 18/30 in both parts (at least 60 per cent correct answers in the grammar exercises; in the translation: correct use of sentence structure and grammatical correctness of the written expression, in accordance with the specified level). If only one part is passed, the mark obtained will be valid for 12 months, during which time the remaining part must be taken. After 12 months, candidates must retake the entire written exam.

To pass the exam: minimum mark of 18/30 in both the written and oral components. Final mark: average of marks.
